There was not enough staff on to cover the amount of people in the pub. We were told to use the app but then the online ordering was down so still had to go to the bar to get our drinks and provide ID. Food was good but a few things were unavailable

Absolutely love The Mattara. I am a regular patron (at least twice a month) for both lunch and dinner and the reason for this is the excellent and friendly service I always receive from the dedicated staff. Menu has something for everyone and I&#39;ve never left there feeling hungry. In fact there&#39;s so much left, a doggy bag is always provided. I can highly recommend the Mattara as a family friendly hotel with delicious food and professional bar and food service.  10/10

Welsh brunch at Cardiff Castle! Raffle bread is a highlight, and others are similar to England and Scotland. But Welsh cuisine has a lot of highlights: Clark pie, radish dumplings, Cawl broth, hand-teared pork, leeks, sprinkled raisins and chocolate powder, extinct-grade ancient cheese represented by Carphilly thick slices, and the most famous &quot;Welsh rabbit&quot;
